Specialist in the areas of Infrastructure (Concessions, Public-Private Partnerships, Private Initiatives, Works for Taxes and Contracting with the State) and Construction Law.
In Infrastructure he has actively participated in the last 13 years as part of multidisciplinary teams providing legal management support to national and foreign companies in the selection procedures called both in the private sector and those called by the Peruvian State, advising in the preparation of technical and economic offers, planning, development, execution and management of public works and public services contracts with the Peruvian State and public-private investment projects of infrastructure and public services including his participation in the resolution of disputes arising during the execution of such contracts, in the different modalities contemplated therein.
Regarding Corporate Compliance, his professional experience and legal practice in the infrastructure sector of public and private works and services has focused on the development and implementation of the prevention system, regulatory compliance and criminal risk management (economic crimes, corruption, money laundering and financing of terrorism), as well as in the certification of ISO 37001. As Compliance Officer, he has participated in the identification of criminal contingencies in order to prevent them, contributing to strengthen a culture of prevention.
In his experience in Corporate Law he has advised on the incorporation of special purpose vehicles, as well as temporary associations for the execution of different projects, implementing the PLAFT System - Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism supervised by the UIF, implementing a Supplier Contract Management Program, advising on compliance with the obligations acquired with the issuance of bonds such as the identification and communication of significant events before the Superintendence of Securities Market, among others. He has also advised during the implementation of ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and their subsequent certifications, identifying the regulations that should be applied according to the corporate purpose and the type of projects being executed.
